RBC,in collaboration with World Health Organization (WHO) and other stakeholders, has launched the Joint External Evaluation (#JEE) to assess and benchmark the country’s core capacities under the International Health Regulations (#IHR) for preventing, detecting, and responding to public #healthemergencies.


A big step for diagnostics in Rwanda. With support from EU Delegation to Rwanda & WHO Rwanda, Rwanda Biomedical Centre is setting up a new Bacteriology Lab at GisenyiHospital under the National Health Lab Services project. This will strengthen #AMR surveillance & outbreak response.

With support from EU Civil Protection & Humanitarian Aid 🇪🇺, WHO Rwanda in collaboration with RBC equipped 7673 #CHWs in 4164 villages with 7673 Thermoflashs, enhancing early detection of infectious diseases & febrile illnesses.
