A two-day workshop is underway at WHO Timor-Leste to co-develop the 2026–2030 National Immunization Strategy. Led by Dr David Sulaberidze, the Ministério da Saúde , INFPM, NITAG, NCIRS , World Health Organization (WHO) & UNICEF Timor-Leste are shaping a costed, priority-driven roadmap for stronger immunization.

Congratulations! #TimorLeste 🇹🇱 has become the third country in World Health Organization South-East Asia to be certified malaria-free by WHO. Since gaining independence in 2002, the country has made remarkable progress to #EndMalaria, reducing cases from a peak of over 223 000 in 2006 to zero indigenous cases
