It's VE Day, the 80th anniversary of Victory in Europe. To mark this day we are delighted to share a poem written by Tim Hodgetts DL, written from the imagined perspective of those celebrating Victory in Europe on 8th May 1945.

The city's VE Day commemorations continue this morning (Thursday) with the City of Wolverhampton Central Branch of the Royal British Legion holding a service of remembrance at the Cenotaph, St Peter’s Square, near the Civic Centre. All are welcome; please gather at 10.50am.
