🕯 IN MEMORY Today marks the 4th anniversary of the death of West Midlands Special Constable Resham Nahal. Resham died on 26 June 2020 due to complications from the injuries he suffered after being struck by a vehicle while on duty seven months earlier. He was 53.

PCC Simon Foster attended WMP Sikh Association to hear issues of concern to Sikh community, both in & outside policing. This included importance of engaging with West Midlands Police staff associations, increased representation in Parliament & policing & recognition of anti-Sikh hate as a crime.

We recently hosted a significant event to commemorate #Gallughara, an importance in #Sikh history. This gathering underscored our collective commitment to working without fear and without favor, embodying the principles of justice and unity that are core to our faith.🙏🏽
