Lots of Pios love in the 2025 NWAC All-Region awards! The East Region position player of the year is Gage Reeser of Yakima Valley JC. West region Assistant Coach of the Year is former Pios pitcher and assistant coach Mikey Callia. Congrats to both!

Also honors for a couple of our old Klamath Falls, Oregon connections – Jacob Whisler was named South Region Coach of the Year at Umpqua CC, and Kurt Lupinski earned the same in the West Region at Lower Columbia. Congrats to both!

Food and fun fans, due to weather we are moving the May 25 Food Truck Festival so Sunday, July 20. Getting out in rain, overcast and cold doesn't sound like fun to any of us, so we'll run it back on July 20.

Pios fans, with the long lightning delay tonight, both teams have agreed on one nine-inning game rather than two sevens. The second game will be made up at a later point as it was a scheduled league game.

Well that was fun! Tomorrow we visit our bitter rivals at Fort Collins Foxes in the first game to determine the 2025 Frontier Cup. There may or may not be some sort of wager on the season series between the two teams.

Today's 20 runs... not a Pios record! We put 23 on the Spearfish Sasquatch in 2018 and 23 on Pierre in 2020. Today was the fourth time in team history the Pios have scored 20 runs in a game.
