90L Continues to move northeast out in the open Atlantic, away from land. Although there is still a chance it could briefly organize into a Depression or Tropical Storm, it will likely fall apart within the next couple of days. In the Tropics

Tropical Storm Andrea continues to head northeast into the North Atlantic. Andrea continues to a loss of convection and is expected to just become a remnant area of low pressure overnight tonight. In the Tropics

Andrea has now become just a remnant low as wind shear and dry air continue to cause it to fall apart. The 11pm Advisory is the final advisory from the National Hurricane Center on Andrea. So, that is the end of the first named storm of the season. In the Tropics

A Severe Thunderstorm that stretches south from the southern part of Lake Okeechobee, is moving slowly west. The Warning is in effect until 5:45pm. The storm has wind gusts of 60mph and quarter size hail. Severe Thunderstorm

Part of Palm Beach County is back in the "Extreme Drought" designation, since a majority of our rainfall has been happening inland and over toward the west coast of Florida. Hopefully we'll catch up with rain chances increasing. Extreme Drought Returns...

An area of showers and storms is moving west/northwest in the Caribbean. If it survives moving across the Yucatan, it may develop a little more in the southern Gulf. Current computer models don't show much development, but we'll continue to monitor. Disturbance in the Caribbean

A large area of low pressure over the Yucatan is moving west/northwest toward the southern Gulf. Regardless of development, this low is producing dangerously heavy rainfall which will spread west into Mexico over the weekend and next week. Development 20-30%. In The Tropics

A large area of low pressure moving WNW over the southern Yucatan, is producing widespread showers and storms. As this low moves over the southern Gulf later tonight and into the weekend, it may develop a little more before moving into eastern Mexico by Monday. In The Tropics

A weak front will drop down into the southeastern U.S. and North Florida later this week. As the front stalls, low pressure may develop along the front in the Gulf, over Florida, or in the Atlantic. Regardless of development, rainfall may increase over Florida. In The Tropics

Low pressure in the northwestern Gulf continues to move westward this afternoon. The chance for any development remains at only 10%. Regardless of development, it will continue to produce heavy rainfall as it moves into Louisiana or Texas tonight. Gulf Low Pressure
