Best day of the season for Zenaida! PR total of 775 (9th in State)! PRs for the year in all lifts and 3rd best deadlift in the State at 340lbs. Very proud of her!

West Plains Powerlifting had a great day in Perryton! All lifters hit PRs on the year, and the boys team took home 3rd place. We had 4 medalists plus Ace Giesbrecht - 3rd, Jae Harrison - 2nd, Jarrett Diggs and Damien Benavidez both 1st. The Wolves gained 535 lbs. on their totals.

Great last two meets for all the Wolves. All lifters had their best meet of the year. Myla Gonzales - Regional Quaifier Zenaida Murillo - Regional Qualifier Boys regional qualifiers will be finalized Monday by 4pm. Proud of all these lifters!

Best day of the year for our two regional qualifying girls! Myla Gonzales finished 4th in the Region with a 35lbs PR of 565lbs. Zenaida Murillo finished 3rd in the region with a 20lbs PR of 775lbs, which is an automatic State Qualifying total. Way proud of y’all.

Great showing at Regional Boys Powerlifting this weekend! Isael Venegas had a 25 lb PR, Ace Giesbrecht 30 lb PR, Brody Tupin 25 lb PR, Jarrett Diggs 60 lb PR, Jae Harrison couldn’t compete due to injury, Damian Benavidez 20 lb PR and state qualifier! Very proud of you men!

One of the toughest competitors I know. Very proud of you Zenaida! She is a 3 time State Qualifier, made crazy gains each meet, while battling back from a knee injury earlier this year. You have left a mark on this program and set the standard high. We will miss you next year!

SR Damian Benavidez wraps up a great powerlifting career qualifying for state in the 308s. He had a great day and had the opportunity to handle some insane poundage. Proud of the mark he has left on the West Plains Powerlifting Program. Thank you for all your hard work!

West Plains Girls Powerlifters competed hard this weekend at the Regional Powerlifting Meet. All girls had their best lifts of the year. Savannah Bennett placed 6th, Myla Gonzales was 3rd, and Tofunmi Odetola placed 2nd and qualified for State! Great job girls…proud of you!
