Reminder for athletes and coaches ... June 22 to July 6 are Arkansas Activity Association "dead weeks" with no contact allowed between athletes and coaches and no use of athletic facilities. Athletic facilities will be off limits during this time.

Justin Corpier and Kaleb McKinney will be competing next week in the TBF/SAF National Fishing Tournament in Grove, Ok.a. They will compete against more than 400 other anglers from across the nation! They are the second team in West Side Angler history to qualify for nationals!

Juniors Mallory Smith (left) and Jenah Ramsey are competing this week at the National Beta Convention in Orlando, Fla., joining about 6,000 other senior high leaders from across the country. Mallory is competing in Creative Writing and Jenah in Poetry.

Congratulations to Jenah Ramsey (right), who finished 10th in the nation in Poetry, and Mallory Smith, who finished 7th in the nation in Creative Writing, at the Beta National Convention in Orlando, Fla! This is the first year of Beta Club, sponsored Holly Shaw, at West Side.

A summer immunization clinic, by appointment or walk-in, is planned on Tue 7/29, by Cleburne County Health Unit! If your child has not had a vaccine since turning 4, 11, or 16, or will have these birthdays before 9/1/25, please contact their doctor or local health unit.
