On Sunday 8th June Police received a report of a scooter being driven around the Bracken Bank and Oakworth areas by two males wearing balaclavas. Officers from Keighley NPT attended and found it hidden in woodland. It was undocumented and will now be scrapped.

Yesterday morning officers from Keighley and Shipley Neighbourhood Policing Teams assisted officers from Immigration Enforcement with an operation in Bingley. 17 suspects were detained on suspicion of being in the country illegally.

Owners of illegal ninja swords are being urged to surrender them or face prosecution and even prison. The recent ban started on Tuesday 1 July and runs up to Thursday 31 July. Persons in West Yorkshire will be able to hand them in at police station helpdesks.
