Willet-Western ssp, Paul do Cabo da Praia, Terceira, Azores (video footage from Sunday morning) the 07th record for the Azores, a smart bird, showed very well at but highly mobile and flighty at times, much bigger in size than what I had expected "Something for Wader Wednesday"

Blue Whale-Terceira-April 2025, the timing of this trip was to coincide with the migration of this species through Azorean Water's. Seen here on my 2nd boat trip I was pleased to connect with the largest animal in the world, the skipper advised us it was 25m minimum in length.

Lesser Spotted Woodpecker-New Forest, May 2025 it was nice watching this male taking in food to the nest & I timed visits to the nest with food which averaged between 9 & 12 minutes, however sometimes just 3 minutes between visits with food, all chicks fledged successfully
