Class 3 had the best time at Parkinson Lane School yesterday as part of the The Linking Network. We walked to Madni Jamia Masjid where we had a tour and saw what they do for the community. Then we went back to school to learn some Bhangra dance routines. Such a fab day out☀️

Reception class enjoyed exploring clay for the first time today! They used different tools, and muscles, to explore the clay by squeezing, rolling, pinching, smoothing and scoring.

In Reception Class we have been using mathematical language to describe the positions and locations of objects and places. As part of this, we created our own park scenes and drew maps to show what we pass on our way to school.🚙🌳🏠

Reception Class had a wonderful trip to Tropical World. We saw a range of animals, focusing on animals that live under the sea. A firm favourite was the stingray that looked like Miss Skate from our focus story ‘Tiddler’. 🐟🐠🐡
