Today, wakiso district human rights committee held a planning meeting together with the local leaders and mobilisers to discuss the modality of the planned Legal aid and sensitization camp at Bugiri landing site on 15th March 2025.

With support from Hivos Global and Regional SRHR Fund, we joined an awareness session organized by the trained GYWs that aimed at creating awareness among their peers in Kikugi village, Kakiri Sub county, Wakiso District on SRHR and Climate Change adaptation.

With support from Women's Peace & Humanitarian Fund and UN Women Uganda, we participated in an awareness session in Kabaale parish in Masuliita Town Council organized by the Local Peace Committee of Masuliita TC. HADIJAH AHMED led the session on legal marriages in Uganda and administration of estates.

A team from UN Women Uganda conducted a monitoring visit in Nakikungube Village Masuliita Sub County, Wakiso District, where they engaged with project beneficiaries to ascertain the impact of the project implemented by Paradigm For Social Justice And Development (PSD) funded by the UN Women's Peace & Humanitarian Fund

The beneficiaries shared how the project has empowered them (women) to actively engage in peacebuilding and contribute to decision-making processes within their community.
