Our 3rd Grade FIRST Explore Team met today in the Robotics Lab. They toured the Lab, created their “Mini Fig”, read about Simple Machines then, planned & built a small structure.

5th Grade FIRST Challenge Team met today in Robotics Lab. They toured the Lab, checked out the Missions on the playing field and began working with a partner to build the missions pieces: Sound Mixer & Rolling Camera. This year’s theme is: Masterpiece We are a team❤️

5th Grade FIRST Robotics team members built Spike Robots. Then, they wrote code for their robots to send messages & make sounds. Way to go 5th Graders!

At WJEC we work hard and we play hard! 3rd, 4th & 5th graders walked to the National Mall for a bit from fun after completing annual end of year testing. Way to go scholars!
