To my knowledge, China has not sent any negotiation team to the United States. Trump said he would reach an agreement with China. I don't know what his logic is?

If the US shows sufficient respect for China, China is willing to negotiate with the US to promote a rebalancing of trade between the two countries. I estimate, one prerequisite is for Trump to first lower tariffs. Tariffs should not be used as bargaining chips in negotiations.

This piece resonated for me. Great power competition is a race to the future. China is investing in and racing toward its future while America is mortgaging its own for a bit more pleasure and comfort in the present. US needs a new generation of leaders. nytimes.com/2025/07/17/opi…

The construction of the Yarlung Zangbo River downstream hydropower project has officially started. This world's largest hydropower station of nearly 200 billion US dollars investment, will definitely change the world's energy structure.

Actually, it's transit trade. Chinese companies sell their goods to Vietnam, which then sells them to the United States. Haha, Vietnamese people made a profit from the price difference, while American consumers paid the bill.
