Such a sad loss. My first talk at a conference in undergrad was during a session honoring Prof. Yoshida for his pioneering work in organic electrochemistry. Despite all of his accomplishments, he was an amazingly humble human being.

For those who are interested in research-based solutions to stop police violence, here’s what you need to know - based on the facts and data. A thread. (1/x)

Another chapter in the C-H functionalization of alcohols-this time towards the synthesis of heterocycles! Great project with fantastic coworkers!

A Laser Driven Flow Chemistry Platform for Scaling Photochemical Reactions with Visible Light pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ac… Really interesting paper for anyone doing photoredox chemistry and has observed faster kinetics at lower catalyst loading!

A particularly interesting and powerful transformation to build complexity with simple alcohols. Also a really interesting one step imidate formation and C-H funct. at the end. Congrats to my coworkers Allen Prusinowski-Lee (they/he) Raymond Twumasi 🇬🇭 for some awesome work!

Truly a sad day. Prof. Peters cared about every student in the classroom and the lab and dedicated his life to teaching. The IU chemistry department will not be the same without him.

We did it! It has been a honor to work with David and all of the fantastic lab mates over the years. A hearty congratulations are in order!

Finally out! The final project of my PhD on trapping carbon radicals to generate chiral C-N bonds. This method was a massive team effort and congratulations to the entire team on getting this across the finish line!

#myfirstchemsci and one of my favorite projects. This is one of those just purely interesting transformations with very little precedence. Geminal dihalides will always hold a special place in my heart!
