An incredible day of learning Royal Ontario Museum

We continue our collective work at Warminster to infuse Indigenous Pedagogies into daily practice. Today’s PLC session was rooted in identity, place-based learning and leading with heart.

As Hanukkah begins this evening, lots of learning has been happening to prepare.

Amazing learning happening all related to Festivals of Light, from Hanukkah to Kwanzaa- our students are experts!

From Kwanzaa to Hanukkah, Christmas and Los Posadas, our K-primary musical honoured the diversity of holidays celebrated during the winter months. The light within these celebrations shone brightly for all today.

It certainly doesn’t feel like grilling weather out there, but our BBQ planning committee are hard at work cooking up great ideas for Warminster’s annual BBQ in June.

Our Learning Centre students have such incredible opportunities with Beth Kudar and Lori Curran Prepping, cooking and enjoying grilled cheese- a treat everyone enjoys! 🧀 + 🍞 = ❤️

Pretty amazing opportunity to have Jo Chrona Jo Chrona herself join us in our learning journey related to Indigenous Pedagogies. Loved having Goodfellow P.S. Lisa Ligers and Rosanne Irving with us too!
