🏀 We travelled to RWBA tonight for our matches. Two great games again. Lily won POM for both matches! It was an all round team effort winning against Swindon Academy but narrowly losing to Bassett.🏀

Westrop and Eastrop attended the year 1 PE festival today. Their behaviour and effort were superb. The balloons, the parachute and the basketball stations were their favourite this time. The year 9 girls were excellent leaders as usual. Well done everyone. 🎈🪂 🏀

Another fabulous fixture for Year 7 basketball at the Deanery. The girls played super well again Deanery A, Deanery B and RWBA. They won two matches and drew one and were crowned the champions once more. Well done girls. 🏆🏀

An amazing fixture with the U14 basketball’s tonight. Winning admirably against GWA. Well done girls. POM. Lexie. 🏆🥇🏀

What a fantastic morning for the year 7 swimming gala everyone swam and dived very well and we even had some free swimming time at the end. In first place Buscot, second place Coleshill, third place Stanton, fourth place Hampton. Well done everyone 🏊‍♀️🏊‍♂️

🥎 Our year 7 and 8 rounders team took to the field today for their first match of the season. They played RWBA at home. Our batting skills improved so much throughout the game. 🥎 Year 7 team won 18 1/2 - 13. POM - Poppy Year 8 team lost 6 1/2 - 15. POM - Lacey (who is a yr7)

Last week we hosted the reception PE festival. So many tiny people in one place! They were all absolutely fantastic and really enjoyed their morning taking part in fun activities. The year 9 girls who led the session were superb as always. 🙂 🪂🏀⛹🏽🏅

🥎 Two excellent rounders games Vs Bradon Forest this afternoon. Both very competitive with some superb fielding from both sides. 🥎 Year 7 won 15 1/2 - 5. POM - Millie Year 8 won 5 1/2 - 4. POM Harriet and Eve.

The year 6 pupils from St Leonard’s and Southfields came over today for a rounders tournament. Both schools showed excellent knowledge of the rules and played brilliantly. 1st - St Leonard’s 1 🥇 2nd - Southfield 1 🥈 3rd - Southfield 2 🥉 4th - Southfield 3 5th - St Leonard’s 2

A brilliant day at the Swindon schools athletics. Some superb performances today. Aiden W was outstanding winning the 100m and the hurdles!
