On May 14th, Estee and her husband attended the King’s Garden Party at Buckingham Palace, an event recognising education and skills with around 7,000 guests. While they didn’t get close to the King, it was a memorable day in a beautiful setting.

Our Amada laser machine & tower have gone... A simple "FREE LASER" post on LinkedIn brought in a flood of responses from companies and local colleges. The machine has gone to a good home, and we’ve avoided any removal costs thanks to the company taking it on. Everyone wins!

Recently, our HR Director Estee enjoyed Wicked at the Apollo Victoria Theatre in London. Back in 2006, we built a BT390 Winch for the show, one of our largest. Space was tight, so we assembled it in Thetford before carefully dismantling and transporting it to the theatre.

Wiktoria has passed her Level 2 Welder apprenticeship with a Merit! We are so proud to see Wiktoria successfully complete her apprenticeship. She was amongst the first 4 apprentices that Swarm REAGIT had on site.

Last week, Estee attended the Apprenticeships Ambassador Network Celebration, an event recognising efforts to promote apprenticeships in Norfolk and elsewhere. Originally planned for 2024, it had to be postponed due to the election, but it was well worth the wait.

Celebrating 10 Years – Dmitrijs Ahundovs Dmitrijs joined us a decade ago, starting on the night shift with little engineering experience. His commitment to quality and precision has been a constant throughout.

Field wormwood, a rare Breckland species found naturally in Brandon, has been successfully reintroduced to our industrial estate. This project has led to the natural establishment of a delicate bee orchid.

We had a great morning at the Space East Networking event, hosted by Roland Plastics. It was a valuable opportunity to connect with manufacturers, engineers and innovators from across the East of England.

Colin has been a valued part of the team for many years, first at Allaway Acoustics and later in Warren’s Paint Department. His dedication and hard work have made a lasting impact and we’re grateful for everything he’s contributed. We wish Colin all the best in his retirement.

Thetford Council has unveiled a new train-themed planter, a tribute to 200 years of railway heritage. We were involved in the making of it, along with Thetford Academy students, local designer David Bradley, El's Painting, and lots more local volunteers. A true community project!

Richard was invited by EAL to the Enginuity Skills Award last month, with over 300 winners and guests. Enginuity is a charity dedicated to closing the skills gap in manufacturing. Here's Richard with Phil Smith CBE, who has recently been appointed Chair of Skills England.
