We captured 51,572 tonnes of methane gas emitted from the Waterloo Landfill last year. Methane impacts global warming 28 times more than CO2. This generated 24,055 MWh of electricity, equal to powering 2,668 homes. Thanks to our public works teams making great things happen #NPWW
