CBB member Siby Samuel published a study, along with Catherine Burns, on automated vehicles that revealed stronger alerts lead to quicker driver responses during takeovers, and mild distractions sometimes improved responsiveness. Results found that drivers preferred adaptable alerts

CBB members Plinio Morita, Shi Cao, Moojan Ghafurian and Zahid Butt, along with Kang Wang, PhD candidate, published a study that shows Ambient Assisted Living (AAL) tech can recognize daily activities of older adults with impressive accuracy (96.4%) using non-intrusive sensors.
