#BergEngineering's new workshop at Gladstone office has been completed with the internal fit out now commencing. First was the installation of the 50t overhead crane, before assembly of our state-of-the-art Titan SC 40/50-4HY Double Column Vertical Boring & Turning Mill begins.

There was excitement before the Christmas shut down at the #BergEngineering Gladstone workshop as our new Titan Vertical Boring and Turning Mill completed its journey from Germany ahead of installation works commencing in our new custom-made facility. #itsaBergthing

The installation team at our #BergEngineering Gladstone workshop have been busy, with the reassembly of our new Titan Double Column Vertical Boring and Turning Mill nearing completion. The 4.3m diameter, 41 tonne Lathe Chuck and double columns are now installed. #itsaBergthing

Another #precisionmachining and welding job successfully completed by the #BergEngineering Brisbane Workshop. This Worm Wheel Spider Hub for one of our Alumina industry clients was fully prepped machined, welded, drilled and slotted here at Berg. #itsaBergthing

Demonstrating the #welding expertise of #BergEngineering BNE; deep narrow gap welding using GMAW Pulsed Spray Transfer Mode, paired with a Metalcore filler material. This process provides near SAW deposition rates without the need for expensive welding & manipulation equipment.

Last 20th Feb, #BergEngineering host an Open Day at our Gladstone Workshop. The highlight of the day was the unveiling of our new state-of-the-art Titan SC 40/50-4HY Double Column Vertical Boring & Turning Mill. This new machine, thought to be QLD’s largest machine of its kind.

#BergEngineering BNE Workshop are undertaking a track pad refurbishment project. Works have included disassembly, removal of old bushes, measuring & documentation of all bores, #machining of the track pad bores & manufacture of new bushes & pins including heat treatment.

The latest addition to the Berg Engineering Gladstone Workshop: a brand new one tonne capacity automatic parts washer. The machine eliminates the need for “hands on” cleaning of parts, thus significantly reducing tool time. #BergEngineering #itsaBergthing
