Rain transitions to snow after midnight. We have increased totals a bit for northern Litchfield county where a burst of snow could allow things to accumulate quickly. #FirstAlert

If using first-order stations like ASOS/AWOS sites as a gage of regionally-representative conditions, looks like Hartford/Brainerd Airport takes the trophy for highest heat index at 115.

Richie Evans “The Rapid Roman” is the ONLY NASCAR driver to win a Championship posthumously. He clinched the 1985 NASCAR National Modified Championship a week before his death. He accumulated enough points prior to his death & was awarded the Championship for that season. 🐐

This #earthquake is extremely similar to the November 5, 1952 quake. In fact, the epicenters are only 28 miles apart. The 1952 quake caused a Pacific-wide tsunami. There's no apparent reason why tonight's won't have similar impacts. PLEASE heed all tsunami alerts.
