Regarding the recent concerns with the Weber County Animal Shelter, representatives from the Weber County Sheriff's Office will be on site at the Animal Shelter today at 11:45 to meet with any members of the media and answer any questions.

A Mazda sedan lost control in the curve at 3100 W 1975 N. The car rolled several times taking out two fences.

The 28 year-old male driver suffered a possible broken neck and was airlifted to Salt Lake.

A 26 year-old female passenger was also injured. She was taken by ambulance to a local hospital.

Three arrested during daytime burglary in Plain City.

Just after 8:30 a.m., neighbors reported three individuals were breaking into a home near 2900 N. 4200 W.

Multiple agencies responded. Two suspects were captured but one fled on foot leading to an hour long manhunt.

Citizens later spotted the man running through a field near 2700 N. 4200 W. After a short foot pursuit with officers, he was apprehended.

Authorities believe the trio had been casing the neighborhood looking for homes to burglarize.

The case remains under investigation.

The Sheriff's Office appreciates the help of UHP, Pleasant View and Harrisville police who all assisted with the arrests.
