We hosted the A*STAR delegates from Singapore in Max-Planck-Institut für Polymerforschung today. We had a mini-symposium on Soft matters & Biomaterials & discussion on PhD program of the MPGC. Lively interactions, with presentation also from our exchange students & collaborators & colleague from MPI-Bio!

It was a great pleasure to host Prof. Fan Zhang from Fudan University at Max-Planck-Institut für Polymerforschung, who delivered an excellent lecture on NIR-II Probe for In-Vivo Imaging. Thanks for sharing your insights into NIR imaging and the latest cutting edge technology in this field!

We are happy to host Prof Santosh Mathapati for a short visit Max-Planck-Institut für Polymerforschung in Christopher Synatschke. Today, he gave a lecture on translating biomaterials from the bench to the bedside.

Wonderful opportunity to meet & interact with Robert Langer, Shuit-Tong Lee, Paul Weiss & many others The Kavli Prize. Inspiring lectures by the Laureates. Congratulations to the Nanoscience Laureates Robert, Paul Paul Alivisatos & Chad Chad A. Mirkin!

Celebrating multi-anniversaries #AdvancedSummit2024 Wiley-VCH. Happy Birthday to the three journals and wishing you more success to come! P.S: Also a great chance to take a Wefie with Weil alumni and group members (Torsten John Yong Ren Seah Ling Kuan) from Max-Planck-Institut für Polymerforschung.

Congratulations to our newly minted Dr. Kevin Ziegler! His project was a joint collaboration with Prof Vincent Ball from UNISTRA on electropolymerized catechols in Christopher Synatschke subgroup.

Our endeavour to create functional peptide nanostructures in cells have resulted one that binds Cu ions, challenging endogeneous copper-dependent chaperones Angewandte Chemie . Congratulations to Jeena (M T Jeena), Julian (Julian Link) for their great work! onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/an…

A very fruitful visit by Manfred & Seah Ling Kuan to Singapore, at A*STAR Research institutes, NUS Chemistry NUS Dept of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, NTU Singapore & HSA. They present about our institute Max-Planck-Institut für Polymerforschung & our department's work. Many stimulating discussion & looking forward to strengthen our ties.

We are delighted to be able to contribute our imaging facilities (BioCore section of David Ng 🇸🇬🇩🇪 Max-Planck-Institut für Polymerforschung) to the work of Jaime Coelho PischelLab Pedro M. P. Gois on BASHY dyes JACS Au. Congratulations! pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ja…

We are delighted to host Jaime Coelho who gave a wonderful talk on his group's research on electroorganic synthetic methods and multidimensional data analysis for predicting bioorthogonal reaction kinetics. We hope to strengthen our collaboration to solve new challenges!

Congratulations to Dr. Chagri (SarahChagri) on her successful PhD defence last week! Her PhD work is focused on bioresponsive peptides for controlled intracellular structure formation David Ng 🇸🇬🇩🇪. Her excellent work is recognized with the highest award of summa cum laude!

A magical evening celebrating X’mas with our colleagues and emeritii Max-Planck-Institut für Polymerforschung! Thank you to the organizing committee, the Haustechnik & all helpers!

Congratulations to Nico for successfully defending his Ph.D. thesis just before the festive season! He has performed excellent work on self-assembled polymer-DNA origami nanostructures within CataLight Max-Planck-Institut für Polymerforschung David Ng 🇸🇬🇩🇪.
