This week we ran our first two treatment development workshops to develop a preliminary version of our intervention for alcohol misuse among populations affected by conflict. Lucky to have experts from all over the world join us and for great moderation by abhijit nadkarni! 🌎💡

Last week our very own Geoffrey Akudrabo facilitated our community advisory board and expert advisory committee in Uganda to inform key aspects of our intervention development. Lots of invaluable input on intervention modality and characteristics of facilitators! 🇺🇬💭💡

This month we held another community advisory board meeting in Rhino refugee settlement🇺🇬 to update community leaders on our programme of work and get feedback on the plans ahead. We've also been busy training our amazing new intervention facilitators and research assistants!🌟✍️

We held focus group discussions in Rhino camp to translate the OxCAP-MH measure into Juba Arabic and understand what capabilities are important in this context. Beans were used to rank different capabilities in order of importance🫘 #CapabilityApproach #wellbeing #refugees
