Tradition never graduates and the goal never changes . . . a wise Mark Newby once told me! What an inspiring (and inspired) team! What a remarkable story the 2025 Admirals authored!

The 100th all-time State Tournament game for this storied program (77-23) ends in victory like so many before. Couldn’t be prouder of a group than these guys, relative unknowns outside the program they were bonded together in their belief and brotherhood.

An ultimate competitor! Started & won 3 elimination games in the postseason. 4 scoreless innings of relief in 2 other elimination contests including a save. Won the 1st & last games of the State Tournament. His 3 complete game victories in State Title games — unprecedented in TN.

Preach it, Jack!! These guys did a masterful job. Developing the team, handling postseason pitching rotation and pitch counts, pushing the right buttons on pinch hitters and runners . . . Grateful they’re in our dugout and clubhouse!
