We’re launching a new feature called #WestHertsWonders! ⭐    Each week, we’ll highlight a colleague who has done something wonderful 💙    First up is Paul, Clinical Specialist Radiographer, who performed basic life support in a shop when a member of the public was taken unwell.

Our amazing teams having been marking #DementiaActionWeek – a week raising awareness of people affected by dementia.   We held stall's in our clinical areas and canteen with resources, and were grateful to have collaborated with Alzheimer's Society with Thursday’s stall.

We celebrated Africa Day in style! 🎉   Colleagues joined an event that shone a light on the traditions, stories, and artefacts that shape the diversity of African cultures.    Africa Day took place on Sunday 25 May. Thanks to everyone who attended!

Our endoscopy service at Hemel Hempstead Hospital is celebrating 20 years of excellence! ✨ Opening in 2005, the service has since gone from strength to strength and it now marks its 20-year anniversary this May.  Read more: bit.ly/4jmSfQk

We’ve opened our new wellbeing courtyard – a peaceful retreat for our patients and colleagues to recharge ☀️🌸   The courtyard is nestled within the Women’s and Children’s building at Watford General. The project was brought to life thanks to the generosity of supporters.

This week’s West Herts Wonder is Casey – Interventional Radiographer – who was recently awarded the Super Purple Star certificate! ✨ Casey has been instrumental in adapting treatment for patients with learning disabilities in the Radiology department.    #WestHertsWonders
