As part of the Year 9 scheme of work, pupils are challenged to create large ink paintings based on the theme of Urban Landscape. Part of the prep work of generating ideas for this painting includes going to Ravenscourt Park to do drawings from life!

Last week 19 Y10 pupils completed the Silver Duke of Edinburgh The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Qualifying Expedition. All successfully completed 3 days of navigating through the Black Mountains in Wales. It was a challenging few days with steep ascents but spirits were high! Well done and congratulations!

Year 10 History students visited Hever Castle, the childhood home of Anne Boleyn. They went on a private guided tour, saw Boleyn’s bedroom and Hever’s famous Long Gallery!  Stay tuned to see what else they got up to!

Our Artwork of the week - Miss Abbassy set Year 9 students to do a drawing of something they found interesting on their journey home. This is a great example from Yousif, 9C. Well done!

Thank you so much to everyone involved in last Friday’s school fair organised by the PTA. It was two hours of absolute fun and madness and it is just fantastic to see the whole community together enjoying themselves.

A glimpse from last week's trip to the Park Theatre, Finsbury Park, where students Coco-Mae and Fiora shone as their Patapango monologues were brought to life on stage! An inspiring evening of talent and performance.

Y9 Group 1 were brilliant on their V&A trip! Legend of the day went to Oliver M for his enthusiasm, team spirit in Hyde Park rounders, and kindness. Students also visited the Earth Photography exhibition and Giuseppe Penone at the Serpentine.

Year 7 took on the North Downs Walk during Activities Week, tackling the hills and taking in the views!

Sadie (Y12) entered the Gresham College National Oracy competition and ended up in the final!. We are delighted to announce that she came 3rd nationwide, receiving a Bronze medal and winning £500 and £200 for the school. An epic achievement and richly deserved. Well done, Sadie!

Year 9 explored the stunning gardens of Kew last week for Activities Week, they explored a variety of incredible plant life!

It was amazing to have actors from The Globe pay a visit for activities week! Year 8 pupils were given a virtual tour of The Globe theatre and then participated in acting workshops focused on Macbeth, the play they have studied this year!

A joyful event organised by the Music department! This year the theme was Country and the winners were the Corinthians (in their red cowboy hats!) voted for by the Y10 and Y12 choirs who judged and also performed.

Year 8 enjoyed a great trip to Greenwich during Activities Week! After a scenic Thames Clipper ride past iconic riverside landmarks, we explored Greenwich Park and the Royal Museums Greenwich - highlights included Nelson’s jacket, Scott’s expedition boots, and a Fijian canoe.

Year 7 had a brilliant day at the Science Museum, exploring STEM careers in the Careers Uncovered workshop and discovering hands-on science in the Wonderlab. Highlights included historic inventions, early aircraft, and a sunny lunch in Hyde Park.
