Mr. East results are in! At the end of the night Charlie Wiech was crowned Mr. East 2025. Matteo Clay was this year's runner up and best ticket seller. Zak Pawlowski was given the title of Mr. Congeniality and James Zimmerman was the fan favorite.

We are excited to announce that the West Seneca Music Department has been designated a "Best Community for Music Education, 2025"! This marks the 12th time in recent years and 9th consecutive year! We are humbled and proud to be recognized!

On Friday, May 9th, the WSE Varsity Softball Team celebrated Teacher Appreciation Night! 12 outstanding teachers were recognized by our players for going above and beyond in supporting and inspiring our student-athletes, both on and off the field.

The West softball team honored their 4 seniors (Kate Gemza, Ari Gioia, Erin Hagler and Grace Schindler) last week after their win vs cross town rival west seneca east in 10 innings. All 4 seniors have made a lasting impact on the softball program.

The graduating Academy of Visual Arts students from both high schools have been hard at work. The students wrapped up their AP portfolios last week. This hard work by can be seen on display for in the Martha Burchfield Richter Atrium at the West Seneca Community Center.

The results are in for the election of the two Board of Education Trustees: Edmund Bedient - 1,411 votes Zach Armstrong - 601 votes Jeremy Weingarden - 443 votes Welcome Zach Armstrong and congratulations to Ed Bedient on his re-election to our school board.

Allendale first grader, Lianna C.'s artwork has been selected to be on display at the Erie 1 Boces Arts Showcase. This is a student art show from area districts around WNY.Her piece, "Three Little Fish", will be on display on June 11th at Erie 1 BOCES Education Campus.

This morning, East Senior students, faculty & staff participated in their annual day of service called - "Trojans Take Action". Every student & staff member took the time to give back to their community. 💚We are SO proud of you all! #wscsdproud💚

Sarmila Biswa, a senior photography student of Mrs. Nicole Smith at West Seneca West Senior was an honorable mention winner in the Villa Maria 31st High School Juried Photography Exhibition. The show is on display at the campus art gallery from May 22nd-June 8th.

Recently, Lauren Bloomberg and Wendy Weisbrot visited our librarians and generously delivered 5 Kindness Suitcases, filled with books and resources that inspire empathy, kindness, and recognition of the unsung heroes of the Holocaust.

Countdown to graduation began last night with "Celebrate the Journey", a faith based celebration marking the milestone from high school to future pursuits for East and West students! Thank you to Ebenezer United Church of Christ for hosting the evening of community.

On Friday night our East JV Boys and West Varsity Boys Lacrosse teams were honored with the 2025 NFLOA Sportsmanship Award. This prestigious award reflects the exceptional sportsmanship the teams demonstrated consistently throughout the season.
