Well done to the Year 7 girls football team who represented Westacre Middle School so well in this KS3 D & WC School Games event yesterday, including some games against older year groups. We are very proud of them for their effort and attitude, both in games they won and lost!

A busy day of learning across the curriculum in Year 7 has included theory and practical learning in PE about the skills needed to be a sports leader, and earning Bunsen burner licenses in Science ready for some upcoming investigations

This Year 6 class have spent the afternoon in the Art room of The Studio working on creating their own Greek vases as part of their ongoing Ancient Greece Creative Curriculum topic

Other highlights in Year 6 this week have included more Roll of Honour children being chosen (westacre-middle-school.co.uk/october-10/ for more info), Ruby earning the Maths #YesUCan sash for her resilience, making periscopes in Science and taking on the teachers in PE!
