KS3 art club students have been working hard over the past few weeks to create sea creatures using paper mache. They started with a cardboard structure before adding paper mache and then painting their sculptures

Westfield Academy’s Year 11 Prom was a night to remember! From standout car arrivals to non-stop photo booth moments, the energy was brilliant from start to finish. After the pressure of GCSEs, it was great to see students relaxed and enjoying time with friends.

Y12 Geography pupils have had a delightful time in Liverpool over the past two days collecting data based on regeneration and quality of life. They looked at 3 different sites & will be drawing up conclusions this week!

Year 7 students headed out to the field to have a go at their own scientific sampling techniques, including the use of sweep nets and pooters to collect invertebrates around the site. Students collected lots of grasshoppers, beetles and even a Cinnabar moth caterpillar! 🐛 🐜 🐞

Our Silver participants have successfully completed their first day of walking! After a wet start, the weather soon dried up, and spirits remained high throughout the day. Students are now busy pitching their tents and preparing to cook their evening meals!

Silver DofE students have set off on their second day of walking! After a well earned 9 hours of sleep, they’re fully rested and ready for the day ahead. Spirits are high as they continue their expedition journey.

A fantastic morning watching our Y13s come in and collect their A-Level results. It has been the highest percentage of A*-As ever at Westfield Academy...... Well done Year13🎉

GCSE results will be available from 9-11am on Thursday 21st August in school. Following this, internal students will be able to enrol into sixthform between 9-12 with external students and football academy from 1-3.30pm

Summer might not be over, but our Basketball Academy are putting in the work to prepare for the new season. Pre season training began this week and will continue until September🏀
