Westmont Baseball saddened loss of Illinois sports broadcasting legend Jim Teckenbrock. Jim covered Chicago area for High School sports like no other. He would always mention Westmont Baseball scores on the radio. We always appreciated the support he gave our program! RIP Jim.

Peter Papadopoulos. Peter made his Varsity debut in 2025. Peter played in 7 games this season on the Varsity level. He also got his first Varsity hit this season. .357 OBP this season and he added 4 Walks as well.875 Fielding Percentage. Looking forward Junior and Senior year!

Alex Meyer Rookie of the Year Award. Alex batted .338 .495 OBP 24 Hits 14 RBI 23 Runs and 22 Stolen Bases. 31 assists. On the mound he started 3 games with a 2-1 record. He struck out 18 batters in 10.2 innings pitched with a 1.97 ERA. Alex will no doubt be a force for future

Hank Barrett second season Varsity lettermen Sophomore in 2025. Hank had 46 Plate Appearances. 10 Runs. He made a stellar defensive play Plano game that saved the game. On the mound Hank got a Win on the mound. He threw 9.1 Varsity innings. Only allowed 2 Earned Runs. 1.50 ERA

John Ruiz was a Varsity Lettermen in 2025. John was on the Chicago Prep Conference Championship team. John had a .250 OBP. John added an RBI and a Run in his Junior Season. We are excited for one more year of John! Thanks for being willing to do whatever it took to help everyone!
