As with most Whisky Works releases, we worked on sourcing the materials responsibly and supported local businesses, using primarily wind-felled Scottish Oak trees in the creation of the casks. #GreggGlassWhisky (2/2)

The #GreggGlassWhisky The Whisky Works masterclass went in to great depth on the makeup of King of Trees 10YO - including samples of the Scottish Oak element on its own!

The Speyside 20YO was actually destined for a project I had planned for 2025, but this whisky reached a surprising peak quicker than anticipated. This was a wonderful partnership with Bourgoin Estate - with the Cognac finish bringing out more herbal notes. #GreggGlassWhisky

#GreggGlassWhisky The headspace in the casks initially used has contributed to the freshness of this expression. We retained this headspace when we moved into the 20YO Cognac finishing casks.

Gregg Glass Fiona Shoop I think this is the bit a lot of us forget who don’t work in the industry. The years of planning and preparation in bringing new products to market. It’s not like you just pop down the warehouse and pluck a few hundreds casks out a smash on a snazzy label

This Fettercairn whisky really highlights the distillery's tropical style. The photo shows the uniqueness of the still, with the cooling rings increasing condensation - this means only lighter vapours rise giving way to that distinctive character. #GreggGlassWhisky
