*Graphic pic below* It’s known around the league Atlanta’s dirt isn’t great. Groundscrew is aware and seemed to work hard to try and make adjustments (at least in the little time I was there). Needless to say, I wasn’t a huge fan of the dirt.

Soft yet firm enough where you don’t make cleat holes playing on it. Atlanta always seemed to be the opposite. Very hard dirt that became uneven after a little foot traffic. And those stitches are from a bad hop taking early groundballs my first day as a Brave

This is the kind of thinking is bad for the sport. The AL Central is tight with 4 teams. Could be decided by a game or 2. If you think the kid can help you win, why on earth would you wait another 14-15 games???
