Whitefriars Glass New web address an d new content: whitefriarsglassworks.com

Whitefriars Glass I adore Whitefriars glass, mainly pre Baxter, and especially love the Wealdstone Range for Wuidart. Lucky enough to come across this fine example of a W13, designed by Barnaby Powell.

Whitefriars Glass Found this for sale on ebay last week. Put in a n offer, which I was sure would be rejected but was accepted. Pretty rare, diamond moulded, pattern 1290 from 1918. Designed by Harry Powell.

Whitefriars Glass Over the moon with this find, a 250th anniversary cup from Whitefriars, 1680-1930.

Whitefriars Glass If anyone has a Flint stopper for a 2091 decanter, please contact me. (Old Sky Blue in photo).

Whitefriars Glass You really have to keep your eyes open and know your subject. At first appearance just another Whitefriars swan. Wrong, an original Frank Hill chinless swan from 1930's. Distinguished by being chinless and the high tail. Pretty rare.

Whitefriars Glass Videos by Kevin Barron of the Glass Fair at the Ruskin Glass Centre. So proud to see him using my Whitefriars website :) youtube.com/channel/UCKihOβ¦

Whitefriars Glass Nice find on ebay, and quite rare, a 9" 9146 in Amethyst from late 1930's.

Whitefriars Glass RIP Colin Bywater who passed away peacfully in Northampton General Hospital on Saturday 23rd December. Colin worked in the Whitefriars design department in the later years and was the designer of the Cirrus Range.

Whitefriars Glass Rare find, a Whitefriars uncatalogued, controlled bubble, paperweight, pattern 9868 in Aqua. How do I know its number! The sticker was still on the bottom. May well have been an export only piece! Please excuse the poor quality photo.

Whitefriars Glass This is a Wealdstone Range W72 in that most elusive of colours, Helion (Greek for Sun, a yellowy-orange colour). Been trying to find a piece in this colour for years and then my friend, Dan Langford, sent this to me as a gift π

Whitefriars Glass What a week, found this W86 on ebay and this M148 carafe (only available 1972) on Etsy. Got both at a remarkably good price, and both are pretty rare. Pays to keep your eyes open.
