Yesterday we joined the Wheelchair Alliance for the first official APPG (All Party Parliamentary Group) meeting at Portcullis House in London, chaired by Tanni Grey-Thompson and Daniel Francis MP with Whizz Kidz acting as Secretariat.

Ahoy there! 🛥️ We recently had the pleasure of taking to the water with a group of young wheelchair users for a fantastic boat trip with Wetwheels South East. A great time was had by all, enjoying a sunny Friday evening on the Medway river 💛

Jack is currently on our waitlist for a new wheelchair, but had outgrown his current equipment and could no longer use it. Fortunately, Whizz Kidz Engineer, Derek, is a full of innovative solutions & worked through multiple technical hitches to grow Jack’s wheelchair for him 💛

Alex was more than happy to help with the shopping after receiving his new wheelchair from Whizz Kidz! His mum, Siobhan, told us: "I’m overjoyed with this chair for Alex. He’s so so happy in this chair, I feel emotional each time I see him enjoying his independence"💛
