It's day 3 of Widescreen Weekend and we're kicking off with the magic of Cinerama. 3 projectors and projectionists working in unison for one massive image. And later we've got La Dolce Vita, Pride and Prejudice, Sicilian Ghost Story, Phantom Thread and Vertigo!

Looks like a technical error has stopped the 3-stripe Cinerama screening of 'How the West was Won' but the amazing Pictureville Cinema team had a technical error reel ready to go in 35mm. This is fantastic!

Things that me and our Cinerama print of How the West Was Won have in common this morning: - Looking good in spite of our age - Having a breakdown

Day 3 might be "technically" over but we're still going at 4am! Indiana Jones formatted especially for our curved screen is the perfect way to finish an incredible Saturday of Widescreen Weekend!

And just like that Widescreen Weekend is over for another year! Massive thank you on behalf of the team (not all of whom are pictured) for our supporters, funders, speakers, programmers, colleagues and delegates who make this event possible. See you next year? #WSW25

It was a joy to introduce TO CATCH A THIEF for the recent Widescreen Weekend festival National Science and Media Museum! Sadly, I couldn't be there in person, but it was great to be a part of this virtually. Special thanks to Programme Manager-the incredible Bex Hill- for sending me this photo! 🎞️✨

Brilliant to have the Scottish premiere of Splice Here, a little after 2 years since its UK premiere at Widescreen Weekend 2022. And even better to create an event around celebrating celluloid with 35mm projection and tours! Well done DCA!
