One of the last football matches of the year was a friendly against Someries primary school. The boys played a fantastic game and enjoyed playing football in the sunshine 🌞

A huge congratulations to all our students who competed in the town athletic finals this week at Stockwood Athletics track. Wigmore took 2nd place and we are so proud of all the children 🥈

Our winners from the @lutonschoolgames cross country competition. We had 20 children compete overall with all 20 taking home a medal 🥇

Apologies for not tweeting sooner! Lots of multi skills festivals have been held this half term. Our yr. 3/4 pupils enjoyed trying all the events and having a brilliant time being active with friends. Massive thank you Luton School Games

Another amazing multi skills festival this half term from Luton School Games. This time our KS1 pupils enjoyed several activities including football, dodgeball, basketball and lots of fun games.

Yr.5/6 Rugby Festival On Friday 26th September Wigmore had 17 pupils representing the school at Luton School Games rugby festival. Both our teams played some fantastic rugby and it was great to see the skills they have been developing in their PE topic in game situations.

Great to see pupils excelling in sport out of school. Well done to Ethan (Yr.4) and Lola (Yr.1) who both completed their next level in their gymnastics awards. Also well done to Hunter (Yr.4) who has scored 5 goals for both his football teams so far this season

PE Trip - Rugby Saracens vs. Bristol On Saturday we were fortunate to be the guard of honour for Saracens rugby club in their 1st home game vs Bristol bears. We had 70 children on the pitch as the players ran out and we were live on TNT sports. Amazing experience for our pupils
