5 years into the #rewilding journey and the first orchid has appeared in the rewilding area of Dominic Buscall - a tiny little Pyramidal Orchid brightening up a gloomy day.

Last December I visited the wonderful Wild Ken Hill in North Norfolk, where a quarter of the site is being rewilded. Here are my reflections from visiting, and what urban areas could learn from rewilding sites like Wild Ken Hill. wildkenhill.co.uk/kabir-kaul-gue… Dominic Buscall Andrew Waddison BEM

A fab afternoon at Dominic Buscall with Ely Nature-Friendly Farming Zone talking #regenerativefarming and #rewilding. Amazing to hear an honest narrative on Countryside Stewardship, Landscape Recovery, etc. Lots of food for thought for the cluster! #naturefriendlyfarming #conservation #farmingcluster

"White-tailed sea eagles win over farmers thanks to successful Irish return." The WT eagle project, led by the great Allan Mee🇵🇸🍉🇮🇪, isn't just the best example of native species reintro in Ireland yet, it's a damn good road map for others in the future. irishtimes.com/environment/20…

Pre work walk under a grey sky around Ken Hill Woods, autumn colours shining through the gloom and good bump into the free range pigs gorging on the Beech mast.
