Fancy footwork and a take-off from Mammoth the common murre during this scale session feeding! Mammoth, this week's Bird of the Week, will turn 13 this July! He, just like his love interest Magma, loves to come up to scale sessions to stand around and hope for free food 😂

Tuft growing season is in full swing! Tufted puffins molt their primary feathers in the fall and start growing their tufts in at the end of December. The tufts will be fully grown around the end of April, just in time for breeding season!

Three bald eagles soaring down to the river, dancing in the air and playing together, what a rare and powerful reminder of freedom, unity, and the wild spirit of nature at its most majestic.
