The Senate just passed Trump’s “big ugly scam” and it’s a disaster for North Carolina. Over 600,000 will lose health care, rural hospitals will shut down, energy costs will go up—all to pay for massive tax cuts for billionaires. We deserve better.

Trump wants to hand-pick Tillis’ successor, and Lara Trump is his top choice. She has no clue about what North Carolina needs or how to help working families make ends meet. This is a clear message: Trump will pick whoever is most loyal to him, no matter how unqualified.

This is a moral moment.
