In addition to being named a league All-Star, INF Thomas Saggese was also named the Texas League MVP! The 21-year-old lead the league in AVG (.318), OPS (.936), RBI (107), hits (158), XBH (60) & total bases (274). He is the 5th Springfield Cardinals player to win league MVP honors.

Congratulations to OF Victor Scott II who was named a 2023 Minor League Rawlings Gold Glove Award winner! He becomes the second #STLCards minor leaguer to earn the award since the honor was reintroduced for MiLB players in 2011.

Congratulations to OF Matt Koperniak (AAA) on being named International League Player of the Week! Koperniak, 26, led the league in AVG, RBI, hits (13), XBH (6) & TB (23). He established a new single-game career-high going 5-for-5 with 3 doubles & 5 RBI on August 1 at Durham.

St. Louis Cardinals have named Thomas Saggese Minor League Player of the Month! Saggese slashed .349/.400/.590 with standout stats across the board, including a season-high four-hit game and a walk-off HR. Rated as the 5th best prospect in the organization, Saggese is killing it!
