At Ireland's Climate Change Leadership Awards #ICCLA ceremony on Thursday Dublin City University won the award for Education Provider of the Year! Congratulations to everyone involved, but especially to our brilliant Darren Clarke (@darrenclarke123) who led DCU's submission.


We've had a great week celebrating our PhD community here DCU History & Geog, three of whom - Noel Carolan (Noel Carolan), Kelly Adamson and Ann Marie Durkan - passed their viva voces on consecutive days.

Congratulations to Noel Carolan (Noel Carolan) who passed his viva on Wednesday. Noel works on the politics of Ireland’s food supply, 1895 to 1923, under the supervision of Daithi O Corrain.


Congratulations to Ann Marie Durkan who passed her viva on Friday. Ann Marie works on animals and the changing landscape of Dublin in the twentieth century under the supervision of Ruth McManus (Ruth McManus @rmcmnow.bsky.social) and Juliana Adelman.
