Super happy to announce out latest ring expansion paper - out today in J. Am. Chem. Soc. This is the culmination of 5 years hard work by lots of very talented and dedicated people in our Chemistry at York group - I am extremely grateful to them all. pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ja…

Very happy to have played a small part in this new paper from Charlotte Willans -best bit of the story being we were collaborators at different institutions when most of the work was done, but colleagues now it's published! pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ac… Aimee Clarke Chemistry at York

Really happy to have this out with colleagues Dr Will Unsworth and Jason Lynam. And a lovely piece of Abi Frith’s PhD thesis.

NEXT WEEK: Research Seminar - Jordi Bures BuresGroup University of Manchester. "Past, Present and Future of Kinetic Analysis" Wednesday 13 March 13:00-14:00 in C/B/102. Host: Charlotte Willans.

Ohm my gosh look! 👀 Who could possibly resist? ⚡️ The ElectroReact, from Asynt Ltd - Lab Equipment & Services, also fits on a Heidolph Instruments hotplate. #Electrochemistry #Electrosynthesis #ElectroReact

Well done Helena! 👏👏👏 A great new first author paper. Andrew Weller

What better way to celebrate the sun finally shining than a group trip to Whitby, fish n chips on the beach, Swedish skittles, swim in the sea for some (not me!) and a stop off Whitby Brewery

New paper in Chemical Science. pubs.rsc.org/en/Content/Art… Mn2(CO)10 is a versatile pre catalyst and here we use time-resolved IR spectroscopy, from ps through to mins, to understand how it is activated. Great working with Prof Ian Fairlamb and Central Laser Facility as always Chemistry at York

Congratulations to all new graduates from Chemistry at York , especially Stuart & Jacob who did MChem projects with us, and David from Prof Ian Fairlamb group who also did a short PDRA with us and whose paper is out today! pubs.rsc.org/om/content/art…
