Exactly 107 years ago today, Kamilaroi man George Bennett enlisted to serve in WW1. He was wounded by mustard gas on the Western Front but returned home. In 1950, George was arrested for public drunkenness & died in his Mungindi cell. shorturl.at/ackUW
