Mooseheads open Day 2 by taking American D Cameron Minella 21st overall.

They love his game, Minella is a top D from the region, Halifax has met with him a lot and scouted the region heavily. Their blueline is looking scary for the future.

Interesting move by the Islanders. They trade a 2nd-rounder to Gatineau for the rights to D Brady Peddle (Antigonish) and a 2nd. Peddle is a solid prospect for this year's NHL draft and Tyler Peddle's brother.
