Last week during an assembly we set the children a competition to write a poem based on their safe space. These two children won the competition and cannot wait to share their poems with the rest of the children in an assembly next week. Here they are with their prizes. ⭐️

Nahla-Renee has raised a massive £260 for her playground by undertaking a sponsored walk. She organised it all herself and walked 6 miles! We are so proud of you!

Here are our wonderful children who were recognised by staff this week for excellent teamwork alongside academic success. ✨

The Year 2 children have been learning about the importance of remembrance. They all contributed to this lovely poppy wreath.

Today our mixed Y5/6 football team played in a tournament against 6 other schools. We won 3, drew 2 and lost 1 which means we qualified for the next round! We are so proud of you. A big thank you to their coach Mr Brown. ⚽️ 🥅

A wonderful reading for pleasure staff meeting held by our fabulous Ruth Parker We have created table book displays and looked at how we can create accessible reading areas in our classrooms for the children to enjoy and to improve our own knowledge of children’s literature.📚

Our first William Rhodes Awards evening was a huge success! A celebration of our over and above children, with performances from incredible role models to inspire our children and a whole host of our Embark Federation family!

A fantastic school trip to Carsington today for 34 of our Reception and Nursery children. We went pond dipping, minibeast hunting, made smelly potions, hunted for owl babies and even had time for a play on the the park. What superstars the children were! 🤩🤩
