Last week we had another amazing live author event with Hannah Gold to celebrate her new book, Turtle Moon. The children loved listening to the process of writing and illustrating a book and lots of children can’t wait to read it!

Poetry day! 📚 Reception practised performing the poem ‘Zany Zoo’ by Matt Goodfellow today. We had lots of fun doing the actions!

Year 3 had a visit from Yorkshire Building Society. They learned all about budgeting and planned a party for 80 people. They thought carefully about how much to charge for a ticket to make sure they made a profit. Yorkshire Building Society

Today, we have our Remembrance celebrations. We have planned a lovely day to show our #respect and #gratitude for those who have served our country. We started with a beautiful reminder from our choir to take a moment to #rememberthem. ❤️

Today, Anna Dixon MP visited to speak to the children about her role. They were very interested to hear about her role in parliament, taking questions from her local communities to raise issues in parliament and how she can help to improve things for our localities.
