Happy #InternationalWomensDay everyone. I'm still buzzing from a great event at The Watt Institution with Carolyn Sutton Witches in Word, Not Deed No photo spoilers of our new acquisition, but a great night with great people. Thanks to everyone who came along!


Lorraine gave an amazing talk on the Witches of Inverclyde, and Witches in Word, Not Deed unveiled a new memorial dress for Marie Lamont, an 18-year old from Greenock accused and executed. Witches in Word, not Deed Witches in Word, Not Deed This powerful exhibition explores the haunting legacy of the Witchcraft Act of 1563 - and is a moving memorial to thirteen of the women who lost their lives and identities through accusations and persecution. Open until 16th November.
