There has been no public consultation with disabled people about the proposals on PIP. This is not just about process, it makes disabled people worse off. I've just asked what the Work and Pensions Secretary will do to ensure her department regains the trust of disabled people

I just asked the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions to name a single disabled people’s organisation that supports the Government’s “reforms”. She couldn’t name one. The Government should scrap this awful Bill, but if it doesn’t I will vote against it.

Others argue it will be more like 250,000. These cuts will cost lives. The only way to ensure that we are not pushing more disabled people into poverty and risking even more deaths in the benefits system, is to stop this Bill. 6/12
